DAY 1: Arrival.

DAY 2 : PARIS Arrive in the capital of France and start to explore the City of Light right away.

DAY 3 : PARIS A local guide introduces you to the city. See Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides and, of course, the Eiffel Tower. During the afternoon use your ACIS Walking Tour to visit the Louvre. This evening view Paris from a different perspective as you take a boat ride along the Seine.

DAY 4 : PARIS The morning is free to wander at your leisure. In the afternoon, an excursion to Versailles is included. Learn about Louis XIV, his palace and his life. This evening you may choose the optional Repas Gaulois on the lie St. Louis.

DAY 5 : TGV -BIARRITZ Enjoy a free morning to discover the Musée d'Orsay or Picasso Museum. Then board the TGV to Biarritz.

DAY 6 : BIARRITZ The morning is free to discover this beachside resort. Enjoy an excursion to St. Jean de Luz, the small Atlantic town where Louis XIV was married.

DAY 7 : PROVENCE Drive to the medieval city of Carcassonne. Explore the narrow streets and imagine how you would go about attacking a city with such impressive walls and towers. Continue to Provence.

DAY 8: NICE This morning see the architectural legacy of the Romans in Nïmes: an amphitheater still in use after 2,000 years, and the magnificent Pont du Gard, an aqueduct preserved in almost perfect condition. Continue to the Côte dAzur and the city of Nice.

DAY 9: NICE Morning sightseeing shows you the Promenade des Anglais, the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and Cimiez. In the afternoon drive to the principality of Monaco. You also visit the hill-top village of Eze for unbelievable views and a chance to learn about the local craft of perfume making.

DAY 10 : Depart
